Life Experiences:
I went to Reed College in Portland, Oregon and then Medical School at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. I then did a Residency in Neurosurgery at Northwestern University. After a fellowship at the University of Minnesota, I became an Attending Neurosurgeon at Evanston Hospital. I was at Evanston Hospital (and Professor of Neurosurgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine until 2009 (25 years) and the moved to Springfield, Illinois as Professor and Chair of Neurosurgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
I am now retired and I spend my time in Springfield and Naples, FL.
I still race my sailboat (Star Class) and try to play golf.
