Larry Alan Leibovitz, age 63, of Long Grove, accomplished realtor, man of few words who left an indelible impact on everyone, famous "Olympic Bobsled Champion"; extraordinary husband of Elizabeth, nee Swaya; adored father of Amanda and Samuel; devoted son of Elaine and the late Calvin; inspirational brother of Marc and Amie; loving brother-in-law of Mary Lynn (late Duane) St. Germain, John Szwaya, Matthew (Patrice) Sawyer, Mark Swaya, Ann (Ron) Johannsen, Kate (Jeff) Chovanic and the late Luke (late Todd) Woods; treasured uncle and friend to many. Service Wednesday, 12 Noon, at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I will echo Louie Bernstein's recent comments on Larry's Facebook page that Larry was a good guy growing up in the Timber Ridge School district.  It's true his family had a special connection with the Bears and we felt special in his sharing that connection with us.  A lot of us were able to share great times with him as we moved through Timber Ridge, Skiles and ETHS.  I will always have those memories and am sad that he has passed on.  Thanks for the good times, Larry.
