I remember a group of us would take his fathers boat out of Wilmette harbour on a warm summers night and go up along the coast north ward. We would drop anchor and jump off and swim ashore like we were some kind of commandos. Surprised we never got picked up for trespassing. But we really had a lot of fun that summer.
His dad also had a Dodge Dart GTS that we really used to beat on. It only had a 318 but that car sure could light up the tires.
