Deborah Ruemler Obituary

Deborah Wiedrich Ruemler, age 64, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She most currently resided in Wichita, KS. Born on December 30th, 1952 in Chicago, IL, Debbie was fearless in all of her endeavors. She had a passion for art and especially enjoyed Kansas artists. As many of her friends know, Debbie was quite fashionable and accessorized nearly every outfit with a perfectly coordinated scarf. She loved Classic Rock music, such as The Beatles and Queen. Debbie was a ferocious reader and loved a nice glass of wine. The people and art of Emprise bank brought Debbie much comfort and joy. Debbie went through her fight with cancer with strength, courage and grace. She was humbled by all of the support, prayers, cards, and love shown to her throughout her illness. Debbie is survived by her husband, Lynn; two daughters, Emily and Kelsey; two granddaughters, Arianna and Lilly; her sister, Karen; and mothers, Loretta and Margery. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Wiedrich. Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, May 4, 2017, Emprise Bank Center, 257 N. Broadway, Wichita. A memorial has been established with www.wichitacancerfoundation.org. Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
