Joyce Ann (Hatter) Lynch
February 5, 1953 - October 13, 2020

With profound sadness we share that Joyce Lynch, age 67, passed away on October 13, 2020, following a brave and courageous six year battle with sarcoma cancerer.

She passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. 

Joyce was born in Evanston and a resident of Skokie, IL for over 20 years.  She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. No one could ask for a better one. She was loving and generous with her family being the most important part of her life. She loved her husband, son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren dearly. She was smart and strong and the person that her family always counted on for guidance. She never gave up and was determined to be here, and overcome this disease, and she never gave up fighting. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, talking and sharing stories and going shopping.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Hatter and Dorothy (Wozniak) Shepherd. She is 
survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 48 years, Joseph Lynch, their son Jason, his 
wife Griselda and her two grandchildren, Max and Rowan.

Because of the COVID pandemic, there will be no public service at this time. Arrangements will be 
private and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
